Hi

Today I have another Project Life post. This one is my card for March. I really like the way this has turned out I cut the shape for the banner myself(I have seen punches that can do this for you). I then cut a calendar tab down to size mounted it and added some metal flower embellishments.

Hi

Today I'm posting about a project life card I made using a picture of a desert(TGI'S Chocolate brownie!). I wanted to use this picture in my layout so I cropped the picture, mounted it on white card added some patterned card from a Mambi Cards stack by Me and my big ideas. I then added a black strip of card across it. Lastly I added some wording from an old QVC kit.

For some reason the picture is uploading to my blog sideways even though on my computer it is the right way up. (sorry!)

Chipboard Clock

Hi

I've not been doing much crafting this week as we have had some lovely weather. I've been out painting the fence and decking, it was so nice to be out in the sun.

Todays post features a chipboard clock with I decorated with K and Co papers and added some chipboard numbers. It was simple to do yet looks lovely.

I used the crafters companion Stick and Stay to adhere the paper to the chipboard. In the past I have used dst or wet glue and have seen the glue through the paper.

I know its only March...

Hi

I know its only March but you can never start making your Christmas Cards too early. This year for the first time I am hoping to do a craft fair or have a staff at a Christmas fair so I am trying to make up quite a stock of cards, especially Christmas Cards.

Here is my latest card:

Hi ,

Yesterday I made this Dad card. I always struggle to think of ways to make male cards so I thought this was a nice card which could be used for birthdays or fathers day. The Dad stamp I used is a Docrafts one.

Make card using new goodies

Following yesterday's haul post I had a play with the sn@p stamps and made this card

The camera backing paper was from a scrapbooking kit I bought years ago. I then used the camera stamp and stamped it twice using black create and craft ink pad. I then used the "smile" stamp stamped in versus magic night sky.

I think it turned out ok but I'm not sure if it's maybe a bit busy with the backing paper

Project Life Haul

Hi

In a previous post I mentioned that I had given in and bought the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic Core Kit. I had been trying to use only my existing stash but I really couldn't resist this kit, its gorgeous!

As there is so many cards in the Core Kits I thought I would pick up a couple of the partial kits. I was a little disappointed as I thought there would be more cards in them but they do give a great taste of the kits. The downside to that is I end up wanting the whole kit! The two partial kits I got were Vintage Travel and Heritage.

Along with the Core Kit I also bought 2 sets of the sn@p stamps. The sets I got were Stamps Daily and Snapshot. I love these stamps they are so cute and perfect for adding a little extra to my project life. I really love the calendar and camera stamps! I also bought an extra little tag stamps which is by Elle's Studio and it says notes, I though this would be good for some hidden journaling.

Project Life

Hi

Today I'm going to share part of February project life spread. The page was a snapshot of some of the things that happened in everyday life and Valentines Day. (Sorry about the glare from the page protectors!!)

As you can see from the pictures we had snow, it didn't come to much but it did lie on the cars for a bit. I have a journaling sticker , a picture of us watching a movie, a book and candle as I been lighting candles and reading a lot this month. A nice little vellum saying embellished with some brads and wooden embellishments. Another little journaling card I made with an arrow I drew.

The top of the layout has a calendar card and a heart embellishment. I have also drew a red heart around the 14th. To the left and right of this card will be pictures.

This isn't one of my favourite pages of my project life but I think it is taking me a while to get used to this way of scrapbooking.

Project Life

Hi

Having recently started Project Life I have been looking at ways to store the items I use for it in a way that I can easily see what I have. I have gathered all the items I think will work with project life and I've cut some papers down to fit the spaces in the page protectors. Originally the idea was to do project life using my stash, I will still use up stash that I have but I did give in and have ordered the 5th and Frolic Core Kit as I fell in love with it!!

Here is a picture of how I am currently storing my project life items, and yes it is full already! This is a letter holder I got from TKmaxx for £9.99. It works for me as I can see everything and there is a section for my alphabets, my cards, chipboard and other embellishments and my 6x6 paper pads.

Another reason I like this storage rack is that it is easy to move around if I want to take my project life onto the floor (yes the floor, my desk isn't very spacious) or downstairs.

Anniversary Card

Hi

Today I have an anniversary card which I made the other day. It is a simple design but I think it looks quite elegant.

I used some iridescent paper I had, some embellishments I picked up in the pound shop ages ago and a border punch to create the almost lace effect on the iridescent paper. The silver happy anniversary was added using outline stickers.

Hi

Well this blog has really been neglected to say the least. The last year or so has been very busy for me due to changing jobs and moving house mostly. I now have a great craft area where I am getting all my crafty stash set up the way I want and so that I'll use it a lot more. I have been very creative lately making lots of cards(which I hope to share on here) and have also started project life.

I am going to try posting daily whether it be a card or a storage post as I love reading these. Today I am sharing a card I made for a design team call. I have always been interested in being on a Design Team and feel that now I have the confidence and time needed to dedicate to such a role.

Thanks for reading
